The purpose of this article is to provide a gateway for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Minority Institutions (MI), and other Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) interested in pursuing contract opportunities with Federal Government Agencies and Government Contractors and/or Federal Government grants. Our desire is to familiarize you with the government's procurement processes and information that will assist you to successfully pursue these business and educational opportunities.
Our purpose is to introduce Administrators, faculty, staff and students to a way to learn how to do business with the Federal Government and Government Contractors.
What are business opportunities?
We define business opportunities as contracts with Federal Government Agencies to provide goods or services over a defined period of time and for a specified price. We often think of private industry as the sole suppliers of goods and services to the Federal Government. There are opportunities for Institutions of Higher Education to participate as well.
